Re: Resizing and uploading photos

It does go into a "gallery" just not one you have control over, ie it is stored by dpreview.

You can include images direct from Flickr in your posts here, a number of members do so. I am not a Flickr user so I can't tell you the procedure but members alfbranch and pdk42 are two Flickr users that come to mind.

A quick PM to Alf or Paul would I am sure get you the relevant instructions.

Re: Resizing and uploading photos

There is a thread explaining the Flikr method on here somewhere.

Edit: Here we go:
-In Flickr, open up your chosen picture
-Click on the 'Share' button. It looks like a curved arrow pointing to the right.
-Be sure "BBCode" tab at the top is selected. (sometimes a push pin icon)
-Choose a size from the drop down list. 800-1000 is usually OK.
-Copy the magic link code it offers you.
-Paste that "directly" into the text of your post. As it comes. No further special codes are needed.

I'd like to be able to do this from my phone. But the Android Flickr app does not seem to have a BBCode option.
