Some say a bit of madness in Turkey

Hello all a few weeks ago there was a thread with a paraglider over the Peak District I know someone was waiting for the aerial shots

Well here`s a few from Turkey in June from Babadag Mountain near Olu Deniz take off is 6,500 feet land on the beach all photos take with the 510 and 40 - 150 lens . They are probably not perfect but I just wanted the buzz of knowing I had taken them. While I was taking these the pilot was filming me on the Camcorder, nothing else to say other than stunning. Hope you enjoy by the way this was my third time runnig off this mounting with a pilot and a hankerchief above us

What a fantastic experience as seen through your eyes. A jouney I would have liked to have in my earlier years.
I think the pictures are very good - especially given the circumstances.

Thanks so much.

Oh Yes, I love it, what a great experience, I sat on that beach a couple of years ago whilst on my hols, some people from our hotel did the same flight (not sure that's the right expression) as you did and I remember what a buzz they got from it, I was only there for a week and was on family duty so didn't really get the chance to join in, still perhaps one day

Great set of photos, well done.

Neil

Thanks Barrie and Niel for the comments, they are very much appreciated. Since I posted these we have now booked for another week in the same hotel in October so will be runnig off the mountain again. So will see if I can get some more interesting shots. But will have to wait and see. I will post some other shots from the holiday asap but that thing called work gets in the way

Have fun and keep clicking

Ian
