Digital Photography magazine

I just had a call from this mag, even though I've never subscribed to the magazine (or even bought one)! They wanted to know if I would be interested in a 3 month subscription for 1 a month...

I told them I dont buy their magazine as I own all Olympus gear and they never seem to have anything about Olympus cameras, and asked if this would be changing... so he changed tack and said practical photography would probably be better suited to me...

I politely declined the offer. (I wish I had asked WHERE he got my details from)

Having never bought practical photography, (or even seen the mag on the shelves) have I made a mistake?

Surprised you haven't seen PP on the shelves. Was my mag of choice back in the day. 1 a month ain't bad..............but may well be slow to cancel if you did.

Re: Digital Photography magazine

I took them up on their offer for PP the three months and at the end of month two got a call offering a three month deal for 1 a month when I explained I was on it already, it totally confused them and the system. For the last two months I have got two copies! Will not be staying with them I now take advanced photography.

Re: Digital Photography magazine

It was a great mag - but the best bits are on www.photoanswers.co.uk which is their website for Beaur ? spelling ? for Practical Photography and Digital Photography.

We had a sub to Digital Photography for 3 years but they messed up delivery - missed mags - and never sent the free gift for renewal ! Now if we see something in it we buy it in Tesco
