FS..Zuiko ED 14-35 f2 SWD Lens

Selling my superb 14-35 SWD lens, this item as you know falls into the Zuiko Top Pro category of lenses.

The condition of this lens is pristine (see pics) and was purchased in May 2010 (UK), so is still in warranty.

All original packing is included.

Although not included in the sale it has had a B&W skylight filter fitted from new, optically this lens is superb as you would expect.

WARNING: This lens is addictive and once fitted to your camera youíll be reluctant to remove it

£1200 plus £11.20 RMSD

Please PM if interested.

Buyer wonít be disappointed!!

The company that begins with 'P' has some great kit no doubt about it. I made the trip from Oly to 'P' a couple of years ago (or so) but in the end I came back to Oly because basically I found Pentax zooms (std and DA*) lacking in comparison.
Mind you if you're going to shoot primes you will love 'P' and they have some great bodies especially the one you have opted for... my last 'P' body was a K-7 and I loved it to bits, however sadly I missed my Oly zooms more
Hope it works out well for you

Btw sorry for going off topic slightly, I'm sure who ever has the cash for your 14-35 wiill be over the moon (I wish I had enough for it but I've just gone for an E-5 )

Well that's true Greg, the E410 still sits proudly on the shelf just waiting to spring into action, in fact I just bought some lenses (kit) for it just this week from another fellow forum member so very happy

Still it looks like the secrets out now, time to reach for the tin helmet methinks!

Thanks Huw, there are actually multiple reasons for choosing P5 over E5, however the primes were at the heart of it, they do have a very good press and I know that other P users swear by them.
I've had a real hankering for a while to get back to basics with my photography and for me that means Primes and more Primes. In the summer I even considered going back to film and dumping digital altogether

I have an old P film camera together with Primes from the olden days (I also have an Olympus Trip) that I occasionally load up.

To be honest I was already to pull the trigger on an E5 as it's a fine camera, that was until I strayed across the P range almost by accident and fell in love with those 'limited editions'

I wish you all the best with the E5 and btw I agree with you re the zooms.

Hi Neil,

That's cruel, tempting me with that gorgeous lens. If I had the money I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

No need to wear a tin hat, I'm sure we all wish you well - I certainly do. And as you're keeping a 410 hopefully we'll still see you here. In any case, let us know how you get on with the new camera and feel free to post some pics from it.

Well I wish Neil well in his choice and hope he has fun with his new camera.

But couldn't his decision be regarded as taking the P.

Only wish I had some spare cash to grab some of these awesome lenses you're selling, Neil. Your photography and the images you create would be superb regardless of make/brand.

Re: FS..Zuiko ED 14-35 f2 SWD Lens

Thanks, John, John and Nick for the kind words.

I'll still qualify to 'stick me oar in' from time to time as I am keeping hold of the E410

The only change with me is that I've decided that my more serious efforts will be with primes, some may think it a curious decision given the obvious quality of the Zuiko range, but I guess it's my way of going 'back to the future'
