What pdk42 said although I'd clone out the white spot bottom left edge of the frame.

Re: Derwent Water from Walla Crag

Very nice shot. There seems to be some artifacts on the water - was it raining/blowing a gale that that introduced some elements that didn't like the downsizing?

Re: Derwent Water from Walla Crag

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments.

David your 'spot' was noted and removed

With regard to artefacts on the water, I can't see any comparing the full-sized image to the reduced sized?
It was blowing a bit and as a result you can see this has whipped up the surface of Derwent Water in places, maybe that's it

Thanks, no it was standard resolution, handheld with the 7-14 f/2.8 at f/5.6 if I remember rightly.

Re: Derwent Water from Walla Crag

Good to see you're still out 'n about enjoying your walking, Huw. Unfortunately my back has succumbed to spondylitis and I can no longer walk long distance.

The view over the lakes is lovely.

Thanks Mark, yes we try to get out and about when we can (work allowing). Sorry to hear about your back, that sounds painful (having googled it).

No Keith, not a stitched panorama, full frame width cropped to 16:9 format.
