Sharing two from this week

Took the 40-150mm Pro for a walk.

Got No. 1 in my garden pond.

No. 2 As I walked beside local River. I watched this Heron stalk and catch an Eel then fly to the other bank. It set it down, then picked it up by the head to give it a good shake to kill it then swallowed it whole. It waited a while then flew back to its fishing spot. I took a few shots and left it in peace.

feedback welcome.

Just noticed I have passed the 7000 barrier!

Two fine shots Ed. That lens and converter appear to be a very versatile combination in your hands.

Ed - Thanks for sharing these two lovely shots giving an all too infrequent glimpse into your world. Do the Heron and Frog speak Gaelic?
