Winter Robin

This friendly wee Robin came bob bob bobbing along the other day during the first snows of an Aberdeenshire Winter.

Re: Winter Robin

Always good to see our little friend. Even down here the birdbaths were all frozen this morning.

I had a wee giggle to myself when this girl came along and asked what I was taking pictures of.
When I pointed out the Robin she said that it was the first one she had seen this year and if they arrive this early it is a sign of a harsh winter to come

Re: Winter Robin

Hi Stephen, it is a fine photo and looks in tiptop condition, if I had taken that shot, I would be tempted to print it on personalised christmas cards for close relatives and friends.

Re: Winter Robin

That is really sharp, lots of detail in the face & best feathers. How close was he?

Re: Winter Robin

Fantastic, that is so sharp too, the little 40-150R is a cracking lens.

I agree with the seasonal subject for cards this year
