Worldwide demand for digital cameras is forecast to reach 86 million units in 2013, representing a decline of 24% when compared with 2012. However, the interchangeable lens camera segment will continue to experience growth, according to a new industry report from Futuresource Consulting.###

I am sure that we will see growth in the Mu43 sector as well as people are starting to see the advantages (siz & weight) of this format and as the capabilities of the cameras grow as well as the quality/range of good glass, more people will start to make choices based on size/weight/cost rather than brand name/pose factor.

The latest batch of Mu43 cameras have proven they are a viable alternative to any APS-C out there and for all but the largest prints, can often produce images hard to differentiate form full frame ones.

Interesting times and the predicted "short life" of Mu43 appears to be very wrong.
