Distant Eagle

One of the aims of my trip to Wester Ross was to photgraph White tailed Eagles. However my only shots were of an adult over a mountain about 1 kilometre away. Fortunately it was a very clear day so I just managed a record shot:

I was alerted to it's presence by the raucous calls of a Great Black Backed Gull, itself a formidable bird. This shot shows just how massive the Eagle is compared with the Gull:

Taken with the E-M5 plus ED 75-300mm, very large crops.
