Is that really a Nikon D700 I see listed in the exif John ???

It's a good shot but no wonder you're so knackered if you lumped that concrete block around with you all day

It certainly is Paul... but alas not mine. Some kind gentleman who I met on the walk around the island allowed me to fire off a card full of shots on his D700 whilst he used his D300. Took me about 10 mins hehe.

The first thing I noticed when I picked up my E3 with the 70-300mm attached - was the huge reach. It's just massive (meaning good) on the e-system. Anyhow... just to redress this slight digression to the dark side, here's a few Skomer shots to balance things, all taken with the E-3 and 70-300mm... (more from the previous day seascapes and sunsets later)

Here's another shot, a bit gruesome though sorry.

It's a Great Black Backed Gull, who is feeding on a Manx Shearwater that it just caught and killed. Poor thing was flapping around for a few seconds before succumbing to the huge GBBG.

This shot was taken hand-held on my E3, using Richards (RAC) legacy 500mm lens, and I added my EC14 for good measure too.
