All agreed. The Northern Ireland peace process and Good Friday Agreement were monumental achievements given what had gone before. Few would argue that they were anything but a 'good thing'.

However, the fact that MI5 opened a file on Corbyn would suggest that his motives were not entirely honourable. He and Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell also had links to the Balcombe Street Gang and a bomb maker responsible for the Hyde Park and Regent's Park devices.

John McDonnell is reported to have said that '"we will gain power not through Parliament but on the streets and the picket lines.”

Jeremy Corbyn is also on record for paying tribute to eight IRA gunmen who were shot dead in an SAS ambush, telling a meeting of the Wolfe Tone Society: "I'm happy to commemorate all those who died fighting for an independent Ireland."

Corbyn has variously denied his links with the IRA, but as we know, the camera doesn't lie.

I have many doubts about Theresa May, but at least she is a known quantity. Given the present security situation do we really want to see a pair of terrorist sympathisers, namely Corbyn and McDonnell living at No 10 and No 11 Downing Street by this time next week?

And imagine for one minute 'Jimmy Krankie', by proxy, acting as deputy prime minister

It doesn't necessarily mean much. You don't know who MI5 have files on - they probably have one on Boris Johnson!

The 'Woodcraft Folk' were famously investigated by the Special Branch some years ago. The Woodcraft Folk is a youth organisation engaged in subversive activities like dancing, camping, games, craft activities etc.. It's divided into groups according to age - the most sinister and subversive group being called 'Elfins' covers ages from 6 to 9!

So how does the photograph of Gerry Adams and Martin McGuiness connect to Corbyn? Or is it just to show that Adams and McGuiness knew ech other?

I apologise if the links between Jeremy Corbyn and the photograph above are not immediately obvious. For clarification, the photograph was taken at an IRA funeral in 1987 which was attended by Jeremy Corbyn. He is on record as praising the eight terrorists being buried.

The photographs below show more obvious links.

If you want to be pedantic 'an elected abstentionist MP' would be a more accurate description.

Maybe Corbyn was trying to persuade him to attend the House of Commons and embrace democracy?

Maybe so.

I guess whoever we vote for we will get a bunch of politicians.

Anyhow, this is all getting a little tiresome and I am enjoying looking at photographs so I will leave you all to it.

Yes, there comes a time when we must all agree to differ. The important thing is that we do each get a vote, unlike the citizens of many other countries.

Well she didn't do too well during her interview with Andrew Marr:

Or her 'car crash' interview with Nick Ferrari - priceless !
