Re: Pixmania

I remember them having a bad reputation when everything seemed to be sent from a Parisian suburb.

Yes that was when everything was a lot cheaper and they were grey imports.

Now they are legit there prices are no better than SRS except for the E-5 which is marked as clearance stock. It would not be the first time a supplier has decided something was not selling and not worth carrying and cleared it rather than have it sit there on the shelves gathering dust.

Edit..strangley enough SRS no longer list or carry the E-5.

Re: Pixmania

Basically Pixmania are Dixons online pan_Europe brand. Throughout Europe they have 19 stores which are really just collection points for on line orders. I suspect that the Dixons brand may disappear eventually. Gone are the cheap grey imports.

Re: Pixmania

I've dealt with Pixmania a few times in the past for computer equipment.
They're reliable right up until you have a problem, then returns are bloody torture!

They're based in France and with the state of the Euro currently, I'm surprised you cannot find a UK based supplier that will be cheaper.

I would avoid, just because of the gallic customer service!

Ouch!
