Twice Talking

Something that really annoys me (putting it nicely) is TV/radio programmes that allow two people talking at the same time...……

Question Time come to mind, partakers need to continue with their diatribe at all costs, and other contributers just need to make their point.

Its just all bad manners, on all sides...……….

And it makes their arguments incomprehensible…………..

I usually switch offfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fffffffffffffff

Re: Twice Talking

Politicians seem to be the worst at this, continually repeating their mantra. Common courtesy seems long gone I’m afraid.

Politicians on all sides seem to be afraid to let others get a word in edgeways just in case we like with what they say!

Re: Twice Talking

The Radio 4 Today 8.10am interview is a regular example. I don't know what the point is supposed to be. Maybe the producer should have a switch which allows one or the other microphone but not both.

I deliberately didnít mention a particular brand of politicians as I tar the lot of them with the same brush and I can assure you itís not a user friendly brush in any sense, and the tar is just off boiling.

Alternatively, one of those dog Anti Bark Shock Collars might prove useful, although I seem to recall they're no longer sold.

Iím sure we could knock something up with a length of wire, a bulb and an in-line switch. Maybe turn off the smoke detector when in use though.
