Pretty Weeds, Exotics & Aussie Native plants.

Got bored again & took the E-M5 with 12-50 lens out in the yard again. Here are a few from today.

The first is Kenilworth Ivy (exotic to us).

The next three are weeds but quite pretty up close.

This Pittosporum undulatum might be an Australian native plant, but is really a weed in its habit (in this area of Australia), because the birds love the fruit & spead the seed, however, we still like to have it growing in some of our yard & pull it out where we don't want it. It is sometimes also known as Sweet Pittosporum, Native Daphne, or Mock Orange & the flower has a lovely aroma.

Cropped from this. Again the little critter wasn't noticed until I viewed the photos (zooming in to delete the blurry ones).

Thanks for looking.

I fiddle with violins (when I'm not fiddling with a camera).

Some nice shots there Ross.
No 4 looks just like a rosebud and No 5 is smashing, great when you catch a bug in the shot too.

You're obviously enjoying the EM-5/12-50 as I am.

As far as "weeds" are concerned someone once told me a weed is just a flower growing in the wrong place. If anyone "comments" on the state of my garden I just tell them it's a wildlife friendly garden.

she looked at me and said "It's official. I hate your camera. It's just so amazing and perfect I want one!"
