Has the noise recently changed? maybe a fault

My E-1, E-3 and E-30 are silent.

On power on or power off? The SSWF works on power on. The IS resets on power off and makes a noise.

That's right, if you leave IS on, then you will hear & feel it at power off but turn it off first & it'll be a silent power down.

Re: Dust thingymebob

David & Ross

You hit the nail on the head!
I mistook the “vibes” of IS for SSWF on the E520

Of course the E1 doesn’t have IS so no “rattle”.

IanF - Thanks
