Re: Boris Gate

I have some Scottish blood but it's several generations ago so I suspect they won't allow me to apply!

Re: Boris Gate

I see that Johnson will appear before the London assembly to account for his dealings with 'entrepreneur' (yeah - right!) Jennifer Arcuri. I can't see any point in this as Johnson, true to form, will simply spout a torrent of lies!

I though that was about who you lie with. (Biblical sense).

Re: Boris Gate

The truth about the Irish "border" issue came out this morning. The Irish farmers don't want us to leave the EU under any circumstances. They are afraid that we will set up better trade deals for farm produce than we have with them.

Re: Boris Gate

The latest news is that a no-deal Brexit could result in a shortage of lavatory rolls, so we may be faced with rationing, or worse still, a return to Izal Medicated and Bronco!

The whole Brexit debacle including Boris proves that collectively we need to be very careful what we wish for. Likewise The Big Orange One on the other side of the pond who must surely be the most dangerous man to have ever had control of the red button. I wouldn't even trust him with the TV zapper!

The danger now is that we wish for something or somebody else who turns out to be even more dangerous. There are plenty of misguided politicians to choose from right now.

Be very, very careful what you wish for!

Just hope the print doesn't come off the Daily Mail too easily
Hard to choose who gets it first, Boris, Gove, IDS or Mogg, just spoilt for choice

Re: Boris Gate

It seems there may now be a delay of Brexit till next summer. So, many more months of John Burkoh.

That is something he shares in common with Boris then. It seems to be a weakness in our MP's. Even John Major ha his moments.

The image of Major and Currie having a moment is one I would rather not try and picture

I cannot help but agree that Ms Arcuri is much easier on the eye than Edwina.

Def easier on the eye but also apparently high maintenance. I wonder how much it cost Edwina ?

I thought Mr Bercow had announced he would be stepping down as Speaker on October 31st or at the next GE, whichever came first. He will be much missed either way.
