If you check the link out I posted you will see there are other sellers, the lowest price being $23.42=16.25.

Re: Details for DR66

I'm more than happy with the price I paid for my DR-66, which I bought from iMoon JP and arrived in about ten days.
At 16 I have to agree it is expensive for a piece of plastic but it's a genuine Olympus piece of plastic. When did Olympus or for that matter any other camera manufacturers make their plastic cheap? Take Olympus lens hoods for instance! As well as the lens hood I think the DR-66 should have been included with the 40-150 mm Pro. Which, I might add, hasn't been off my 40-150mm since I got it, furthermore it is unlikely to drop off and get lost. I dread to think how much a genuine lens hood would cost if it came adrift.
We think nothing of forking out for lens protection filters, straps, grips, bags and other gizmo's that probably cost pence to manufacture. In hindsight if I'd had the choice of tripod mount or DR-66 at the point of purchase I would have chosen the DR-66 because I rarely use a tripod.
However my Grandson, who is teething, may have a different view. He recently grabbed the tripod mount off the coffee table where I'd carelessly abandoned it and began to gnaw on it contentedly, until I managed to wrest it from his tiny but remarkably resistant hands.

Re: Details for DR66

I've just had an email from WEX, informing me that the DR66 which I ordered in December was now in stock and ready for despatch.
