will there be enough for all of us? (means food)

hi all,

today i did a walk along the grain fields. as i saw the grain there was a thought...will there be enough?

and on the other hand...i'm looking for a few really big pictures (size perhaps 1m x 1m on canvas) to decorate my dining room.

What do you think about the pics. please feel free to take a copy and try some photoshop magic (but please tell me later what you've done )

OK, here are my three favourites (yes, i want the square format).

Thanks for looking and comments

I think they make a great set, difficult to judge how they would look as prints without seeing them in the flesh, I think the blue might be a bit much as a large print and could be better desaturated slightly

Why not display as a triptych?

Excellent photography.
Can M4/3 be enlarged so much, ie from 1/4 of nothing to 1m^2? I'm too lazy to do the calcs (need Rachael Riley off countdown to help me - form a queue lads ) but that's one massive enlargement.

Thank you for your ideas and comments. the triptych is a good thought.

@Ricoh: on canvas is no need for such a high resolution. i have a print in 1,2m x 1,8m based on a 6MP picture. the structure of the canvas and the distance to the picture when you look at it make it possible.

The first shot of the set is my favourite but I think John's tryptch idea works very well. I love square format and that works well for your shots too.

Regards.

Is there enough interest to use them as prints on the wall?

I thought similarly, Harold. Rather than a triptych of equals, how about three different sizes - e.g. two overlapping one, and different sizes. I would set the middle one up as a 'background' shot, and superimpose the other two on parts of it. They could be sized \as a group to keep the square format overall.

Other than that, I would probably have got my Lensbaby out to take them.
