Redbubble, Photobox and others

I just wondered if anyone had experience of these sites where you can sell your work?

I have a "pro gallery" set up on Photobox - have a look here to get a feel for it http://www.photoboxgallery.com/snaar

It was a bit fiddly to get the look I wanted from the narrow range available, but I amreasonably happy. Its not terribly slick but its OK..

I did wonder if the world would beat a path to my door, but so far, zero sales. I think you need to establish such a gallery and promote it shamelessly if you want to make money

Re: Redbubble, Photobox and others

I think the Photobox site is useful if you do occasional "events" eg formal parties for the host hostess and you get people asking if they can have copies etc of the pictures, if you use the Photobox process you can distribute the images and let the "interested" party make the decision.

I am testing the process out at the moment.

indeed - it works for 'customers' and being linked to flickr makes it easy for me.

I don't have experience of others though
