What are YOU doing TODAY ?

Monday is my 4th day of many weekends, 3rd of this one ! and I am SHATTERED from walking about the Haw Conservancy with TOGGY KIT yesterday, so resting today!

BUT I PLAN to take some photos of the Wrens nesting right outside our bedroom window this morning and evening.

What are YOU doing (except regular work days)?

Re: What are YOU doing TODAY ?

I shall be taking my nearest and dearest to the gym for her to do her swimming and Pilates. While she is there I will go to the "swamp" to see if I can photograph one of the elusive Garden Warblers that are there and see if the Little Ringed Plovers have hatched any eggs yet. There may also be chance of a Marsh Harrier. The sun is out and the wind is light so I may have a chance.
Then I'll pick her up, come home and take the dog for a walk around the village with my camera to see if I can get a few more images for the HDR software I'm trialling. Then it's out for a cycle ride around the local lanes and farm tracks, some work on the village fete I'm organising and visit a friend who has just had a heart valve replacement.
After all that it's a glass of wine in the garden before supper and a bit of telly.

Normal work - moving antique furniture and valuable paintings from one part of the Big Hoose to another. Why? Because I'm asked to!

Re: What are YOU doing TODAY ?

Work as usual. I am giving a training course for two days, which makes a change from Assembler and VHDL (fellow sufferers, you know who you are...).

So, sore throat and cups of tea I suspect. As a result the camera won't get taken to work

Re: What are YOU doing TODAY ?

I will be finishing my article on infra red photography for our other site, DPNow.com, doing the E-1, E-3, and E-5 high ISO test requested here (as a short article for Four Thirds User), and other routine things like collecting the children from school and cooking the dinner!

Work

No chance of any camera work for several days I fear unless I can squeeze some minutes in on a couple of evenings. Camera's are not allowed at work so can't even have mine in the car for a short lunchtime grab session. Not that lunchtime is a real concept anyway as I rarely have one.

Taking a landscape workshop group this evening, then getting all the kit ready
to cope with three weddings this week all of them at castle locations and as the weather looks bad they will undoubtedly be indoors so that means a shed load of batteries will be required.

Re: What are YOU doing TODAY ?

Off to Hayling Island with 6 under Three year olds, to build Sand Castles and decorate them with pretty (?) Seashells. Have a great Picnic in or outside our beach hut and take lots of photos of the Litt-lies having fun !

With a SW Wind of 6 = few if any Windsurfers partly cloudy no showers is great for Littl-lies comfort; and Birthday Cake MINE ! What a way to spend a working birthday !
