Second shot for me also but the piece of driftwood is a distraction. I may have waded in and dragged it out of shot. Or angled it so it wasn't parallel to the edge of the frame.

I actually prefer this version, it brings out the range of colour in the stone more. Parts of it look almost as if you've done selective mono conversion.

If it were mine I would just remove the white patches on the drifting wood which are very distracting.
