Part of the problem was that, when this camera came out, we had just Brexited and the pound had tanked. Although not back to its previous level, the pound has now recovered somewhat against the yen and the dollar.

And the introduction of the Panasonic G9 at a cheaper price has given it some competition! The Christmas deal with a free HLD-9 and 200 rebate was probably a better deal... or am I just justifying my purchase??

Are those grey imports perhaps? They say if it needs repair you have to take it back to them.
