Old Salt

Whilst on a short break to Cornwall recently, after a little persuasion, this old character in Cornwall allowed me to take his photo. After a few shots I thanked him and this was his reply - "My pockets are full of thank yous"

E-510 12-60mm lens 1/320sec @ f6.3 200 iso.

Re: Old Salt

Cracking b+w - good lighting also. He made a great subject.

Did you convert from colour?

Regards. Barr1e

Re: Old Salt

Thanks Barrie for your kind comments.
Yes it was a conversion to b&w from colour. I meant to mention that when I posted the photo.
Regards, Keith.

Re: Old Salt

It's nice, a gentle sort of portrait.

"My pockets are full of thank yous"
Sounds like a hint
