The cold easterly wind continues.

Although today was sunny (at last) the bitterly cold wind from the east continues unabated.

At Abberton reservoir today there were white capped waves.

This pair of Mallard shot past at tremendous speed with the wind behind them.

I missed these before - my laptop has had power supply problems and I've been keeping up with the photos on my phone, using a PC once in a while. However, the laptop has power, and will eventually have a new battery as well!

No. 1 might have sunshine but still looks cold. Whitecaps on a reservoir - whew .

No.2 at least some creatures appreciated the stiff wind. Ducks on the ground don't look like they would ever look good in the air - these look great! Love the curl on the wingtips.
