Help with Tapatalk

Plese be gentle with me I have one of those smart phones HTC sensation XE but do not have a clue about this Tapatalk. I have downloaded it to my phone but cannot figure out how to get to this forum? It ask for three letters in the search area but E-group does not show up. Please break it down into small bites and I will try to sort it out.

Thanks (its an age thing like Zukio the only tablets I know come from my doctor!)

Re: Help with Tapatalk

Try egroup or e-group?

The full name for the site is Olympus UK E-System User Group.

I would have thought the site address (e-group.uk.net) would also work.

Ian

Try searching "olympus". The group should be somewhere in the list.

Re: Help with Tapatalk

I just removed it and added it again - when on the 'network' tab, tap on 'lookup forum' and type in 'olympus uk' and it should be the only result you get.....

Do you mean how to install it on your phone?

To install, if you have an iPhone, go to the App Store, if you have an Android phone go to the Play Store and just search either of them for Tapatalk....

Excellent. Once you've logged on the first time, the e-group should be on your favourites list - under "me" tab and "accounts" along with any other forums you add

Re: Help with Tapatalk

When I read this thread I though 'Tapatalk' looked as if it could be useful for my Android tablet.

I installed it and whilst I can get this site, I can't get others that I use - www.dpreview.com and www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk. I've tried typing in the full URLs but still come up with nothing.

Is it 'me' or is Tapatalk of limited use? Is there a 'workarround for my problem?

Jim

Thanks. I've now found out that forums need to install Tapatalk on their site as you say. This makes it of very limited usefulness as far as I'm concerned.
