Interesting that it's rung, as a youngster in the nest I'd imagine.

Re: Communal Bird Photography Thread

Thanks for the reply David.

I came across it at WWT Llanelli. When I woke it, it ran away, appeared not to be able to fly. Ran into a nearby ditch.

I gave it space after it woke, but got within 30 feet before I spoke to it to wake it up.........

May be able to find out more from WWT.........

If it's an injured bird it would be rung in case it 'escaped' from the WWT.

The cormorant is unknown to WWT Llanelli.

They are going to keep an eye out for it...........

Interesting, I assumed it was an injured bird they had adopted. There was an injured Bewick's Swan resident at Martin Mere WWT in the late 80's they had taken in.

Re: Communal Bird Photography Thread

Pied Wagtail from today. A pair were busy cleaning the edge of the scrape.

I managed a few with my EM5 mk2 and 100-300. But only managed to get the pair together with my non Oly set-up. So some just on Flickr.

But I was pleased with this one. And also some signs of spring posted in the flowers...
