Mist Oportunities

Travelling by train to Melbourne last week it was unusual to see fog at this time of year.
These were shot as we travelled south across the plains of Northeast Victoria down to Melbourne.

1.

From my window seat it was fun looking ahead and composing pictures of interesting features as the we sped along.
2.

The fog gave the countryside a veil making it look magical and mysterious.
3.

Nearer Melbourne we began passing by shipping containers but that code, "Eco Bamboo Flooring" won't fool sniffer dogs ...
4.

Must be lots of fun driving a great big thing like that ... I can see 007 doing stuff on that!
5.

Yeah, I have bamboo undies! (I prefer cotton though )

A nice series anyhow.

There was thick fog up the Blue Mountains yesterday & my son was annoyed with all the idiot drivers that didn't put their lights on as he drove through it (with his on though, of course).

Re: Mist Oportunities

Well it helped to pass the 3 hour trip to Melbourne, Ross as the woman sitting next to me was snooty and unsociable.

The pictures would have been sharp and clear had I not absentmindedly opened the camera back and fogged the film before rewinding, mate !

Re: Mist Oportunities

Hi Mark, maybe you got lucky sitting next to a snooty and unsociable lady, I had quite the opposite when flying out of tenerife, the lady sitting next to me never came up for breath for four and a half very long hours, even when we were eating our inflight meal, so just maybe, your train journey with the snooty lady was a blessing in disguise.
BTW I like the misty photo.cheers mate.

Hey Raymondo, perhaps you're right. We were after all in the 1st Class carriage where one should expect a certain reserve. She buried her head in a book all the way for 3 hours solid
