Burned Out

For many years we have been using a very basic, cheap toaster for our breakfast. This morning it burned one side of the bread (both slices), leaving the other white.

Half of the inner element was not red. A few minutes later, it failed altogether.

In view of its long service, and mindful of today's date, I proposed a small ceremony in which we play "The Last Toast"

Harold

If you don't like burn toast then "always look on the white side of loaf".

I'm getting a bit browned of with these Jokes.

Think I'll have a listen to my Bread album.

Re: Burned Out

If there was an element of foul play I suspect it was an inside job. The trail will have gone cold by now. If I do catch anyone responsible I'll give them a good grilling (toasting no longer an option). Harold
