More gorgeous scenes at dusk, what was I doing?

I particularly like the penultimate picture in this set, it's simply superb!

Dear Adam,

Yes, me too - I love your architecture/cityscape shots and wonder what lens(es) you used for them?

Thanks, Nick

Adam,

Another good set of images for your meet. Looks like you had a good time and weather for the evening. I also like the St.Paul's shot and agree names to faces would be great!

Re: A section of images form the London meet

Thanks all

I was using my E520 and the MK1 14-54mm I was waving around the 70 -300mm for a short time but the 14- 54mm was responsible for all the shots posted here.

As for names, I can barely remember my name let alone everybody there, Sorry

Ooooh - something not right in some (all) of these shots - lots of jaggies; how are you resizing these, Adam?

I think I know what you mean

As I upload to the net I have a program called Shrink pic It runs in the background and automatically resize the image as it is uploaded to a web site or email.

Can't see any jaggies in that so it's obviously something your program is doing when uploading to this forum. Maybe the compression is too high, 102kb file size for an 800 x 600 pixel image as detailed as the St Paul's shot seems a little small. I resize in Elements 800 x 600 @ 72ppi and aim for a file size of around 250 to 350 kb when saving with a quality setting typically between 9 and 11 and this seems to work OK. Also, I sharpen after resizing rather than before.

Thanks John

I have been thinking of investing In lightroom and trying to rethink a new work flow and storage system. I have a bit of a habit of rushing though the processing part and may be not getting the best from a shot.
