NOT 'In My Garden'

But rather in the Rose Garden of Mottisfont Abbey. Possibly at its best at the moment and worth a visit if you are within range.

First 3 taken with ED 70-300, I think I am beginning to get to grips with this lens.

Re: NOT 'In My Garden'

Very nice, David. Seems you are getting to grips with that lens rather well!

I particularly like numbers 1 & 2.

Re: NOT 'In My Garden'

Number 1 for me. I think number 3 a touch overexposed on the petals (if you don't mind me being critical).

Very nice.

Re: NOT 'In My Garden'

The definition in 1 and 2 is superb....the white in no3 is so hard to handle...too much light ??? maybe.

Thank you all for taking th trouble to comment.

Steve - constructive criticism is most welcome, I have much to learn.

Is this any better?

I confess to being rather pleased with 1 myself

Re: NOT 'In My Garden'

#1 for me as well, the bokeh's nice, followed closely by your second shot at #3.

Looks a nice place, I love those Tudor redbrick houses, most everything around here is Sandstone.
