This is my favourite maybe 2nd favourite shot on my photographic journey of nearly 2 years.

Re: Re-Edit

Sorry but I looked at this the other day at work and meant to look at home to see it better.

Its not the kind of shot I usually take but it looks good to me. I like the high key look and the eyes still have good detail.

Re: Re-Edit

Perhaps you could try this in the Looking for Improvement section

It is technically well beyond anything I could ever hope to produce

Re: Re-Edit

Alan, I never saw this ... until NOW :eek

It looks brilliant technically - as Alf said the "eyes have it" ...

But its not one I would LURVE sorry but I think you would prefer my honesty

Thinking about it and viewing a few more times, I think its the orange hair in the bottom right corner I dislike and the hand - more than anything - then I prefer the image

Thank you,

I like the eyes too.... but it certainly has not exported very well from my LR4, it seems a lot more grainy than the version I wanted to export.

Best wishes.........Alan

Thanks Dude.................

It certainly is not better technically than your work, it is however a very subjective shot, which is open to all manner of opinions. I dont want to improve the shot, I just want to share someone whom is better looking than me.

Your comment's are more than welcome sir ( or Mr Explore)

I do prefer the honesty Chevvy, that is why I like this forum, you don't get the smoke blowers, mostly just get honest feedback.

Thinking about it and viewing a few more times, I think its the orange hair in the bottom right corner I dislike and the hand - more than anything - then I prefer the image

I warned her about that new shampoo from TANGO....

Thank you so much Chevvy. XXXX

Re: Re-Edit

I like the pose and high key look and the girl is beautiful, but the cross processed/ split toned mono preset spoils it for me as I think it would work better as a toned mono .

But as I always say if you like it that is all that counts.

Thanks Paul, I have mono shot in the gallery, which was my first conversion, and I love the mono...... but I loved the slightly coloured version, in fact I loved every single edit I done, it was a shot which even I could not ruin in edit.

But as I always say if you like it that is all that counts.

Thank you again Paul for your comment.
