Never Too Old to Rock

Went to Mersea Island Food festival yesterday. Apart from great local food and drink there is always a selection of local bands.

This guy just had to be photographed. He just stood there and looked super cool and proved there is hope for all the more mature amongst us.

cheers

Hec

Re: Never Too Old to Rock

Oh yes.. I played bass for a while and I recognise that look. Peering at the guitarist and thinking "what is he doing next?"

"Daddy Cool" or "Grandaddy Cool"?

A good catch.

Re: Never Too Old to Rock

How laid back is that? I bet he had a great time in the 1960's - in fact, he probably thinks he's still in the sixties. That's a super shot, Hec.

Re: Never Too Old to Rock - Updated

Re: Never Too Old to Rock

The B&W shot does work and it seems to somehow bring out the features of his face better, however I still prefer the colour version because the colours are not only bright and punchy but also very complimentary. You are lucky to have such a good shot that works very well in both mediums.

Re: Never Too Old to Rock

Thanks John. I confess I prefer the B&W version but that's normal for me.

I did do some work on his face to try and emphasise the "distinguished rocker" look.

cheers

Re: Never Too Old to Rock

Love both of these, I usually prefer mono but I think, on this occasion, the colour has it!
Bet he has many tales to tell!
