The red flower is good, if you had managed a black background like in the pink flower (clematis?) shot it would have been worth blowing up and putting on the wall.

By the way, I assume the flash created the black effect in picture 3 ??

Yes it was the flash effect, fired off camera and I am very pleased with the effect. A recent purchase that I am still getting used to!

Three really great shots Yorkie. It's hard to pick a favourite from these but I think #1 is wonderful in that it describes peace and tranquillity without a care in the world - just pleasure.

All beautiful images, superb control of lighting, DoF and exposure. The out of focus flower in #3 could quite easily be cloned out to give greater balance to the shot. Well done!
