I moved from Pentax (film) to Olympus (digital) ...but that was many years ago - hence the grey hairs

Re: Introduction

Thank You. I have a Pentax K3 11 and far to many lenses. It was getting rather to much for me to carry about so after a lot of thought I settled on Micro Four Thirds. I am looking forward to enjoying my photography more now. The good thing is that I will still be able to use some of my old Pentax manual lenses from my ME Super with the right adapter.
Regards Andrew

Re: Introduction

Welcome from an ex Pentax person ('man' pre PC). I too changed for the delight of weightlessness. Just hang in there on the menu structure (you may have to hang around a bit). Given the Glass you have, Santa was indeed very kind - good shooting and best wishes.

Re: Introduction

Thank You. My wife thought so too! I must be doing something right. I have sent for an adapter that can let me change the aperture on some of my Pentax lenses so that I can use them manually. Yes the menu system is rather daunting.

I thought about that too, but decided it rather countered the MFT weight advantage. But be interested to see the results you get.
