Opilio canestrinii female

These images were in a subfolder from 2015 and had not been processed. A species I had not found before.

The male lacks the patterning on the body.

EM-1, probably Oshiro 60mm.

The stereo is crosseye.

Excellent image of Common Darters. In the Ruddy Darter the entire side of the female thorax is yellow and the male has red patches extending further back on the wing bases and more intense and even red on the abdomen.

Don't want/need to be too specific, but it looks tho' the lady is collecting the magic ingredient, rather than having it placed by the male...…...

I was under the impression that the male had his dangly bits at the end of the "tail"...

Another Woodwalton Dragonfly, a Three Winged Hawker (which perhaps explains why it didn't scarper as I removed vegetation from in front of it).


But which Hawker?
