As a youngster it was "Daddies" that was available on the table but my sauce of choice is "HP Fruity". To answer the question though, "HP" (original) is the definitive. If your having your burgers in a bun with salad then it has to be that pink sauce like you get in a well known burger chain. On chips it has to be "Heinz Tomato". On a juicy red steak "A1".

Depends on the dish, but HP for me as far as brown sauce goes, though a little Hendersons Relish in preference sometimes since I now live in Sheffield.

Shouldn't it now be call DH sauce(Den Haag)after Heinz closed the factory in the midlands in 2007 and moved production to the Netherlands.
