No, but mine is numbered as an EP-7 so you could try and Google that

Re: Lost my E3 eyepiece!

Last resort, many Oly specialist dealers should be able to order them. LCE shops are a good bet as they support Oly pretty strongly. I know Norwich to be very helpful but I'm sure there are others. Digital Depot in sstevenage might be worth a try too.

Luton Cameras only list part of their spares inventory on the web, it is worth giving them a quick phone call.

Re: Lost my E3 eyepiece!

You might want to try the EP-6 eyepiece as this is deeper and in my opinion fits more keenly on the eye than the default eyepiece.

Here's a link...

I've lost mine as well. Clearly a design fault. Product recall imminent!

Thanks all for the info how to get replacement.

Re: Lost my E3 eyepiece!

I think this is going to be a problem with the E-3 On several occasions my eyepiece has come off, mainly when putting the camera back in the bag. One day I am sure I am going to fail to notice.

If Oly are reading this, please note.

Re: Lost my E3 eyepiece!

Initially when I had my E-3 I was regularly finding the eyecup was dislodged when placing it in the bag - at that stage a medium size camera backpack. Quite frankly the camera was too thick for the space between the fixed dividers and the top of the bag (or maybe you could say the fixed dividers were too long).

I now use a Tamrac Velocity 9x, which is one of those sling bags, where the camera is supported with the lens dangling down. Swallows my E-3 (which I use without grip), 50-200, Sigma 135-400 + ec1.4, 11-22, 35mm, plus oddments in the outer pocket. So far (6 odd months +) the eyecup has remained happily in place.

Re: Lost my E3 eyepiece!

I reported this problem to oly and posted a thread on this site about the problem soon after I got my E3 last year. I think that they have a tolerance tiering problem and said as much. A few days later, I got a free replacement from Oly at Watford. Last week I lost another one....damn.

The E500 eyepiece fits so I have 'borrowed' it until I get another replacement. You can see the difference in the E500 and E3 eyecup mounts in my old gallery. Its the one without an identified owner.

Cheers

Peter

There was a thread on this subject some time ago and Steve (250swb) had a working solution for it:

I have searched and looked for the gallery without a name and cannot find it Mods can you put a link to these pictures to help please.

I am not wanting to lose my eyecup too. I am going to squeeze the sides as suggested.

I have now tightened up the screws and that made very little difference but in my toolbox I found some black vinyl electrical tape which I have used to create a tighter fit in a couple of places and also wrapped a piece through the bottom of the eyepiece (as the rubber isn't attached here!) onto the body. I will need to replace that from time to time but it is now far more secure if a little bodged.

Two points I noted, it is most lose-able as it goes in and out of the free Olympus rucksack. I noted that putting it away is the moment it pops off and also the camera gets turned on - until now I thought I'd left the camera switched on from time to time (but no, it isn't me, it is the action of backplate rubbing against that horrible orange textured fabric and I'll need to think how to modify that too).

But why doesn't the eyepiece deserve a grub screw or metal to metal finish (rather than plastic)? This is supposed to be pro gear and if it were pro 'audio' gear it would be far better finished and would lockdown.
