Been Playing

This is a first attempt at tilt-shift editing

I saw this method on a work based forum a couple of years ago, but only just had any editing know-how to try.... is it any good?


Now to save up for better software so I can play with my photos more

It's a good effect Tracey, but you can see the blur lines at the ends of the top and bottom blurred sections. I've tried this once, and remember using a graduated blur for the areas. This creates a far more realistic effect.

They are interesting to look at though aren't they?

Yes they are interesting to do and look at. As yet I havent found a way to do graduated blurs in Elements

Is there a way in gimp does anyone know?
