Blooms at RHS Wisley

It's that time of year when all the major gardens are waxing lyrical about their magnificent acers, rhododendrons, and magnolias.

Here is just a small sample from the Battlestone Hill and Oakwood areas at RHS Wisley. No botanical information as my brain does not remember this sort of minutiae.

beautiful. I love those dark iris flowers and would like them in my garden. Such lovely colours every flower

An exquisite collection of botanicalia (new word ) OM.
Can't wait for spring to give the new lens a more thorough workout (what's all that groaning I hear in the background … )
