Re: Heads UP... S/H em1 mk2 !!!

I was so close to completing the checkout on this but a few moments reflection made me empty the basket as I should wait until I know the work situation at the end of March. Thanks for the heads up anyway Simon.

You are welcome.

I cant imagine they will have it for long. I was sort of tempted but then thought ..... 'hang on, you've just ordered a 40/150 Pro & TC plus the 300 F4 .... time to calmly reflect Simon'

It would be nice if someone on here benefited from my head's up.

Thanks for heads up. Finance not in place or I would be on the keyboard.
Do have to ask why such a quick resale what was lacking for the original owner?

My thought was the spouse of the original owner noticed it was different to the MK1?

I had thought that too, though I would have insisted on a refund or replacement if it was being problematic rather than take a hit of what is likely to be around £650.00 in such a short space of time.

Hopefully Olympus will get to the bottom of that problem asap, I am sure they will be aiming to do so as this camera is being firmly aimed at capturing some of the 'pro' market. A quick and proper 'fix' will benefit all early adopters.

Re: Heads UP... S/H em1 mk2 !!!

Must be a big Billingham if your wife can nestle in it...

Anyway, I came extremely close to calling Harrison Cameras yesterday when I saw that: it's a fair price, I think, and they are reputable.

Two things held me back eventually: I'm still very much finding my way with my new (to me) A7Rii and have got plenty to learn about it to occupy me for some time, and I'm not going to be shooting any fast action until probably March '17.

I'm confident the hang-ups will be solved by firmware updates, although this might well take a few months, and more of these will surely be slowly coming on to the used market.

Yes I did, Jaipur, along with a tasty Wetherspoons Beef Madras, followed by a delicious chocolate stout, but I also resisted further temptation.
Effectively £300 discount, and as I'm sure they could come up with a copy of the original receipt, the full warranty should be usable by the new owner.

Had I not bought a second E-M1, off this very forum last week, my resolve may have weakened somewhat.

I did drive past Harrisons earlier, but thought I'd best not venture inside.
