A Day at the Wildlife Park

I took these snapshots at Thrigby Wildlife Park in Norfolk in August 2010 but had forgotten about them. This was partly because they were raw files and needed developing and partly because I didn't know where to post them. I am a little out of my depth with these creatures so any experts out there will have to identify them for yourselves but I think the first one is a Tiger. They were all taken with an E-30 and the ED 70-300 zoom.

Re: A Day at the Wildlife Park

Thanks Chevvy. No, the Tigers are in a large enclosure surrounded by wire mesh. There is a tree top walk above the enclosure and I was able to take the shot over the top of the wire mesh surrounding the walk. It was at chest height. Fortunately the Tigers are quite a way away at this point.

Re: A Day at the Wildlife Park

Many thanks for your kind comments. I checked the Thrigby website and it appears that the black 'monkeys' are actually Sulawesi Crested Macaques. I don't think that would have been my first guess! It looks as if the bird is a Sacred Ibis.
