Re: Return to home

Lots of nature. I see you could use a little sharpening on some of the photos on the computer. A good thing for nature photos is to include something for the eye to lead in to the photo. First one's got the road from the left and the trees from the right. The 3 next ones is horizontal lines but I miss something to rest my eye on. 2 next ones are ok. Liked the last one best of the lot

Hi,

Lided the last one best, agree with other comments on landscapes re: composition.

Last one is a"fixed" distant signal - can I ask where you took this (asking as an old signalman !)

Best

Mike

Hello Mike the old signalman This was taken in Ogmore Vale, directly opposite to where the old Gwalia Stores were situated ( now to be found in Saint Fagans ).

As for the other photos I was trying to highlight hope steep the mountain ranges are in the area...but I agree with the comments made by both of you.
I shall be uploading more photos from the area shortly, I feel some of them may be of a better form.
As for photoshopping photos I'm just trying to get used to the camera...my first SLR or as it is now DSLR.
What I'm trying to work out is, is there any point or improovement in the photos I'm taking at the moment?
