Please no. Not if it is as painful as last time.

Anyhow, I understand the England team are having difficulties returning to the UK under the new points based immigration system.

Re: Do you want a second chance?

But would Helga (Frau Merkel) let us back in anyway? The French didn't' want us to join in the first place, so we were late to the table and had little say in the EU's founding principles.

From the reports I have seen Frau Merkel says that the decision has been made and there is no turning back. I would imagine the atmosphere amongst EU leaders would be fairly toxic if we did ever return.

No doubt it will involve the courts and the "free card" will run up a huge debit.

So many leading politicians have publicly accepted the result, and committed to us leaving, that the idea of a second referendum on the same question is pure fantasy.

I've posted a video link along similar lines to this letter on the other politico thread. Scary stuff, but if true, then Joe Public really are being raped and pillaged and having to pay dearly for that privilege.

Re: Do you want a second chance?

I certainly won't be signing the petition. I believe in democracy, and that is just what happened, deal with it and move on.

I am fed up with remainers who think leavers didn't know what they were voting for.
If you don't like real democracy then go live in North Korea as that is what you are suggesting.

But of course the "superior elite" obviously know best, lets just be good little peasants and do as we are told.

Re: Do you want a second chance?

The referendum result has been described as a vote between the "Haves" and the "Have Nots" ok so the Have nots may have got their country back but by their voting they have condemned themselves and others to Never Having anything more.

When you have nothing everything looks like an improvement.

There are a lot that that have very little and believe that they have nothing to lose...

There are those that have enough to know that they really do not want to lose what they have.

By now you will have noticed that I am very good at stating the obvious
