Coast

My current pet gripe. Rarely have I seen and heard such naff presenters and awful dialogue. The content seems to be pitched at 5 year olds although I suspect that age group has a wider vocabulary. Nick Crane used the word 'bounty' in nearly every other sentence with a delivery like no other. From what depths does the BBC dredge them up from?

What's yours.

David

Re: Coast

You can get a Bounty with an almond on top of the coconut called Almond Joy over here.

Even though it's a British show I rarely watch it unless I know they're going to part of the coast I know.

Re: Coast

My big gripe with the Beeb is their practice of moving popular presenters around many programmes/series on subjects they have little technical knowledge of. I don't believe a good presenter on Blue Peter is necessarily the right person for Springwatch, hence I no longer watch it preferring a more scientific approach to infantile jokes, innuendos and uninformed comment!

We get old Last of the Summer Wine with Foggy and Wally on one channel and newer ones with Captain Peacock on another channel. Doc Martin is on multiple channels, you can probably catch an episode from each series over the space of a few days.

Our ABC is so bad the PM has banned his ministers from appearing on it.
