Corn feast

Pheasants are, though an usual sight, usually difficult to get good pictures of since they are wary and will flee as you approach them. Exception was the other day, a newly harvested corn field had an attraction factor that just too much. I managed to deploy the setup in open ground, fully visible at 25 meters, take a series of pictures before they eventually pulled back into what was left of the field.

Thanks for looking
Tord

E-M5, broken IBIS, ISO 1000-1600?

These are probably the last pictures I will take for some time since the camera was sent to Olympus to repair the broken IBIS, from own experience it takes a while to get it back...

Re: Corn feast

Hi there Tord!

I love the pictures, especially number 2 and number 5. The only time I have seen pheasants out and about recently my wife had walked on ahead, borrowing my camera! Otherwise I only see them whilst driving, trying to stare down my car in the middle of the road - obviously Welsh pheasants are less flighty than Swedish ones!

Cheers for showing the pictures and good luck with your camera,

Ralph.

Thanks Hec,
My ambition is to keep the 500px site updated with updates at least a few times weekly. Here only a few of my recent pictures will be displayed as fuel for discussions and feeback how to improve.

Still waiting for the E-M5 to come back, the E5 will do the job in the meantime.
