Gotcha...!!! Long Tailed Tit at last!!

Hey All

After yesterdays disappointment when I managed to capture a blurred Long Tailed Tit on my feeder, I was delighted that they were back today and I managed to capture this one. Several of them came to feed this afternoon, and I was very excited to see them all. I also watched a fight start out... Dunnock v's Robin - and boy did they go for it.

I hope these Long Tailed Tits are now going to be regular visitors to my garden feeder.

Bingo eh!

I agree - a very good shot - you must be thrilled.

We have a black and white woodpecker who has visited the feeder twice. When I looked out this morning at seven I wished I had had my camera in hand. I must tie a knot in my fingers at bedtime to remind me to rise earlier tomorrow. Mmm, I wonder.............

Oh yes Barrie... If you have the chance, you simply have to get up early to have a crack of snapping the beautiful Woodpecker. I haven't seen any Spotted Woodpeckers in our garden, neither have I seen any around these parts - though they are not rare species. I have seen a Green Woodpecker over the golf course across the river from where I live.

Would love to be able to get some of those shots... go on Barrie... go for it.
