selling up and moving on...maybe

Thinking about moving to OMD, so possibly looking to sell up the following, but just throwing things out the at the moment.

Olympus E-620
HDL Grip
4x batterys + charger

50-200mm Oly non SWD
18-180mm Oly
70-300mm Oly
10-20 Sigma
105mm Sigma
135-400mm Sigma

1.4x teleconvertor oly
ex25 oly

FL-36R
Flash bracket FL=BK01
Flash cord Oly
Flash Grip GS3

All in mint condition complete all lenses with cases or bags and most with original boxes.

135-400 has a lowepro case.

All lenses have filters,

what sort of value would you put on this?

could it raise enough for an OMD+ Lens

Or do I wait until the "new release" ?

cheers

Re: selling up and moving on...maybe

I'd wait just a few more weeks to see what new 4/3 m4/3 hybrid that Olympus may have waiting in the wings. If nothing happens I'm sure you'll raise enough from your existing kit to move to the OM-D.

Tom
Tom I think hybrid is a marketing ploy by Oly and when all the smoke and mirrors are over it is going to turn out to be a MFT body with pdaf on the sensor (courtesy of Sony) and a supplied mft to ft adaptor.

This way a improvement is seen over the E-M5 better AF (pdaf) on mft lenses to appeal to and keep the MFT owners happy and justify the price hike over the E-M5, and also they hope keep the minority FT owners happy and make Oly money from both camps.

I'm afraid you might be right. I was kinda thinking a E-510 sized mirrorless camera with a PDAF adapter. Now with this expected at the end of the year deal I'm not so hopeful anymore, we've heard this line before. For me that's OK, I don't need more kit, and certainly I don't need to be tempted by another body, but I fear that others maybe disappointed. Hope Oly puts out some good teasers or something to keep peoples interest...soon.

Re: selling up and moving on...maybe

The OMD is a superb camera and it will probably drop in price when the rumoured OMD is announced next month..............perhaps.

It may be worth holding fire for a month to see what happens
