Sun in Scotland...

Had a few days break in Scotland visiting friends, we were very lucky with the weather, sunshine wall to wall, which I am told is very rare in Scotland....took a few pics, here are some of the better ones. The boat trip from Queensferry was perfect, the water was virtually flat calm, and the views of the bridges so different from any land based ones, the structures are immense.

Thanks for looking......

Peter

Super shots Peter, you really did get the weather - it's raining today!

Some nice shots with unusual angles AND with blue skies. Some people get all the luck in spades.

A very nice set. Looks like you had a good time. What is the building with the glass sided walkway?

#5 for me please. I'd crop the wall at the left hand side though.

Re: Sun in Scotland...

Yes we were incredibly lucky with the weather, we had to buy some sunscreen!! in Scotland I hear you say....yes it would have been too much sun on the boat trip...the building on the curve is a walkway between the shopping mall at the Parliment end of Princes Street and a car park, which you can reach at 1st floor level over this bridge...I'll have a try at cropping the wall for No 5

Cheers

Peter
