E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

For sale my low mileage original E-M5 Mark 1 in black.

I pre-ordered it when it was announced (which is a first for me) and it has been my camera of choice since then. I always keep two camera bodies on the go so this is fairly low shutter count at under 7500 shots...

... and has had a rear screen protector from new.

It includes one Olympus battery and one aftermarket battery. You get the Olympus charger and UK plug.

It comes with the two part HLD6 grip

Plus the (almost unused) flash and little pouch.

In the original boxes.

This includes the manual, CD, cables unused strap and D rings.

I'm only selling it now because I have a brace of Pen F bodies in the camera bag.

I'm looking for 195 including postage. Ship to UK only.

Any questions, please PM me.

Thanks for looking

Cheers

Pete

Re: E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

Hi there..

I once sold something to a buyer on the continent and the postal charges were immense. Also we have had stuff "disappear" en route to Spain. So I'm a bit off posting outside the UK.

Hope that helps

Pete

Re: E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

Pete,

I know I'm being thick here, but can I use the lenses I have for my E510 and e520 with this?

Just come home after a day shooting my grandson's first football match - took my e520 out for the first time in nearly a year and came home and dropped it on the floor - I'm absolutely gutted!

My e510 only works intermittently (with the wind in the right direction!) and I don't want to be without a camera whilst I save up for my next big one!

Many thanks,

Janet

Re: E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

Hi there Janet

Alas, my E-M5 is the new generation Micro 4/3 camera Your e520 and e510 are from the previous (4/3) era.

You can use 4/3 lenses on cameras like my E-M5 but you need an Olympus MMF1 or MMF2 adapter and the lens probably won't focus as fast as a Micro 4/3 lens would..

Cheers
Pete

Re: E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

Thanks Pete...I'm just googling MMF-3 adapters now.

Do you think I'd notice a lot of difference in focussing from what I have now with my 4/3 cameras?

Is there anyone on the forum please who's using 4/3 lenses with micro 4/3 camera who could let me know how they find it?

I'm still gutted...I've only just started to calm down now!

Janet

Re: E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

I swear that camera dropped to the (stone) floor in slow motion!

Still, it's taken nearly ten years of use and abuse...and more importantly my new 18-180 lens survived intact.

Oh well...two hours ago I was in tears...now I'm anticipating playing with m4/3....eek!

Re: E-M5 Mark 1 plus HLD6 grip etc

Woo hoo! I'm a happy bunny today - I have my new camera arriving shortly courtesy of Snaarman (thanks!) and I've just managed to get a second hand e520 for just 75.

I know, I know....its an old, old camera but I absolutely loved mine until I killed it yesterday. I know how it works and what I can do with it and I'm just happy to have a replacement on the way!

Maybe this weekend hasn't been all bad after all...
