12 from this year
Good afternoon all,
I hope you are all well and dry. Following on from Iain`s comments I also have had a changing year with the camera. going from the old trusted E510 and E600 which rear screen died mid year (cost to repair not even a thought) So bit the bullet and purchased E5 and a lot of kit Of Doug on the south coast. So here are my 12 from the year quite a few have been while away from home with work messing about with train bogies. Sunset silhouette while away ![]() Winter hoar frost taken near Knutsford ![]() Lake view taken in Weald Country Park near Brentwood ![]() Storm brewing over the city of London, one of the many I have taken from the Holiday Inn Express Newbury Park near Ilford ![]() Sunset view from our holiday in Corfu believe me a view we never got tired of. ![]() Ferry sailing to Zeebrugge with the Gregory clan for a weekend in Brugge ![]() Red Arrows during a day out in Weston -super-Mare, a nice suprise as first real time with the E5 ![]() Heage windmill only about a mile and a bit away seen it all my life in various states of repair and finally got the bike out and had a look around ![]() Cape St Vincent lighthouse sunset Algarve, Portugal (did it get cold when the sun started to drop) believe me it did ![]() Tower bridge dull day so played with the dramatic tone on the camera ![]() Waterfall actually in the grounds of Rydal Hall in the Lake District. Well worth a look around and believe this it is free ![]() Only found this place for a walk on Christmas Eve, Padley Gorge Grindleford near Chatsworth. Can`t wait for next autum so many broad leaf trees I think it will be special ![]() So there you go, probably not perfect but its 12 that mean things to me. Thanks for looking and all the best for 2013 lets hope it drys out Ian |

Great shots Ian, difficult to pick a favourite, but the sunsets and the Red Arrows stand out for me.

Re: 12 from this year
London Bridge stands out for me, although I would be pleased with any one of them.

Yes, a really nice set Greg. I think my favourite is that grass silhouette.

Re: 12 from this year
A superb set, Ian, and I have to say the Red Arrows stands out. However, 2 and 5 are my favourites, just the sort of pictures I like. All the best for 2013.

Re: 12 from this year
Some great shots. I like the simplicity of the first one, and the Red Arrows one is terrific.

Re: 12 from this year
Good afternoon to all,
I would just like to thank you all for your views and comments and to say it has been very interesting to view all the set of 12 posted. What a varied bunch we are but that the name of the game photos take at times are very personnel and mean a lot to the heart. Not wanting to wish the year away but looking forward to next years showings. All the best for the year. Ian |
